Ah!  I'll be interested to hear the answer on this one.  I was told by
my dad once that you could pour kerosene directly into the *oil* to
clean out the engine, run it for a couple of minutes, then change it.
Sounds kinda crazy (explosive?) to me.

Seems to me, though, that whatever gets into your engine will end up in
the oil and (possibly) the coolant.  Change those when you're done and
you should be fine.

Whatever I use to 
clean the engine, some of the cleaner will make its way into the engine.

This is even with it totally assembled.  You can never adequately plug a

square exhaust port!  So, if I bath the engine in kerosene, and the
kerosene 
makes its way into oil passeges, or even down in the cylinders, does
this 
matter?
