As Jim mentioned always buy the best you can afford on most items. Now the
question is what is the best of course ;) As far as the carpet goes I have
had a Moss budget carpet set in my MGB for 5 years now and no problems at all
and I put about 5-8K on my B a year so it is outdoors a lot in the sun and
rain. (I have autumn leaf with black carpet FYI)
The main difference is the molded tunnel carpet, but again that is not that
big of a deal to be honest other than a bit easier to put down IMO. The
carpet is a bit thinner but I have not had any adverse effects with mine and
years ago was in the carpet business and don't feel it is much of a drawback
on the budget set. As far as what most folks get, most go for the deluxe set
so much for my thoughts huh ;)
