Got power at the points now, I think. Touched them up with a
screwdriver, turned on the key and they sparked. Have now put in new
plugs, points, condenser and still won't start. Going to try the coil
next and that only leaves plug wires. Have checked all the connection
and they seem to be fine. Somebody mentioned a wire inside the dizzy
on the moveable parts under the plate, I can't find anything there.
Looked in my repair book and there is nothing in the picture, you
think they meant the one off the condenser? Also, when I replaced the
points yesterday the plate they sit on was still very wet under. I
did replace the radiator hose, which appeared to be leaking. Very
perplexing problem.
