   On tiny item of note, and it's not really an issue here in LBC-land.
The XJ6 and the XJ-S will accept a Chevy V8 transplant, although not
without cultural rejection.  The Mk-1, Mk-II and S-Type will NOT.  The
spacing between the frame rails is too narrow.  Don't ask how I
know.  I'm  too ashamed to tell you...
