Albert, not sure about the later years but on my '76 B the headrests just
slide up and down - but that said, it's really hard to move them! As far
as manuals are concerned, most people recommend getting both the
appropriate Haynes manual and the Bentley manual. I like the Bentley, as
it has the workshop manual, owners handbook and special tuning section all
in one. But it's a good idea to have more than one! I also keep the
previous version of the Moss catalog in my garage.
