FWIW
I polished off the anodizing on my 67s window frame when it was apart for
painting. I did it by hand and it took way too long but it came out very
nice. I get many compliments about it at shows. I have not clearcoated it
as I did not want the constant hassle of dealing with breaks in the
coating. Instead, I polish it lightly 3 or 4 times a year with mother's
metal polish.
