That's pretty resourceful, Denise.

Once, we wagged home a rusty MGB-GT on a flatbed trailer. It was so rusty
that as we were pushing it backwards down the trailer ramps, the floorpan
(what little was left of it) broke laterally from sill to sill allowing the
floor to come crashing down on to the trailer bed. Now the rear wheels were
on the ramps and the front wheels were still on the bed and it wouldn't roll
backwards or forwards. After some head scratching, we managed to get a floor
jack under the front member and jacked it up as high as it would go. Then I
drove a steel fence post into the ground behind the GT and wrapped a log
chain from the fence post around the rear axle. We then drove the tow
vehicle and trailer out from underneath the MG until the jack reached the
back of the trailer bed. After removing the jack we finished driving away
from the tethered MG. Not a pretty sight, but it worked and we didn't lose
any personnel.
