These have helped in the past:

Big oil cooler.

Adding a heater core for a big American Pickup Truck to the cooling
system, mounting it so it gets plenty of breeze when in motion,
plumbing it into the system in series. Alternately, one can add a
good strong radiator off a small car in the same way.

Using a blanking sleeve instead of a thermostat.

Running with 3/4 water, 1/4 coolant, with added wetting agent.

Adding a strong electric fan to the system, to cool when standing.

Adding a 2 gallon flow-through tank to the system in series to
increase the coolant capacity.
