I have been working on my 80 and just about ready to hit the road with it.
I noticed the "fan belt" was a bit worn and needed replacing. Grabbed the
belt and headed of the local Autozone.
I told the lady behinf the counter I needed a new belt.
Like normal, she asked "For what car?".
I replied "1980 MGB".
Her reply was "What's that?".
I am sure the car is at least or not older then her.
