The MGB with good suspension, balanced tires and a balanced prop-shaft
should be stable up to its top speed. I drive mine constantly at 80mph
(any slower in NJ and you get run over by semi-trucks !!!).
I do notice that above 85, the steering gets a "bit light". I am assuming
that
the aerodynamics are starting to lift the front end of the car slightly at
those
speeds.
But otherwise if the car is in good condition with no noticeably worn
suspension
components, it should be pretty stable.
