1.  The wandering could be due to a number of things.  Check the front end.
Are the tie rods in good shape./  Are the kingpins worn?  If you have wire
wheels, the spokes may be loose.  Check all the front end parts and be sure
they are tight.  Also, check the rear spring u-bolts.  It could also be the
tires.

2.  Check the front shock trunions.  If the bolt is frozen, yo may have this
problem.  Also, check to see what fluid is in the shock.  It may be too thick.
If this doesn't solve the problem, I'm afraid you need to replace the
schocks.

3.  The door probably has worn hinges.  You may be able to compensate for this
if you remove the door panel, loosen the hinge bolts and reset the door.
