OK,
I know I've recently heard about axle widths etc between Rostyle rims and wire
wheels
being different.

Here's my scenario:

I would like the stability of non wire wheels on my 68 MGB GT.
Not to be a non-conformist to the Purist clan, but because I like the way mini
lites
look on a B, especially on a BGT and when cornering I can feel the flex or the
not
total control, there's a wishy washy feel to wire wheels when cornering hard. I
only have
painted wires, so they're hard to keep looking good all the time. I know
ralleye/auto
crossers and the first thing they've told me they've done is to lose the wire
wheels.

I have the late rear end in my car now, the tubed type.

Bud Krueger let me take his (I think 1973) (unwanted free to a good home)
entire tubed
type assembly away free ! including brakes and drums etc a few months ago-
thanx again Bud.

I'm hoping to rebuild it and install it into my 68 BGT, on the same 68 springs.

"Are you folks saying there's a width difference in the 73 as opposed to the 68
hub to hub
width" ? and mini lites and tires will rub on the inside ?
also, 1 thing I haven't even looked at yet, are the spring perches in the same
location as
the 68's ?

Then for the front wheels all I have to change is the front hubs right? Are you
saying mini lites
will rub there too ?
