Any standard auto relay should do, in the UK we have a choice between 20 and
30 amp varieties - go for the 30 amp for fans - and those with an integral
fuse and those without.  Seeing as you are going to need a fuse in the fan
supply anyway I would get the fused type.  They will probably have the
spades labelled 30, 85, 86,and 87.  30 is usually the main brown feed and 87
is wired to the fans.  85 and 86 are wired to ground and the switched supply
i.e. the green circuit, it doesn't matter which way round.  If the fan stat
has two terminals it can go in either the ground supply to the relay or the
switched whichever is most convenient.
