My car is a '68 (see .sig :-) and it has the mid-fold top.  Apart from
the fact that I had to remove it fully when I had my competition rollbar
installed, it was wonderful because you could raise or lower it without
getting out of the car.  Just reach back and pull it over to the
windscreen and clip it down (removal is the opposite - just throw it
back when the hailstorm abates :-)

Plastic, non-zip rear window.  It currently hangs up (removed with
tools) in my garage waiting for when my car return to being a normal 'B
again.  Even if the rollbar wasn't too high for it, the rear stays of
the rollbar prevent the roof from collapsing the way it needs to.
