Kelvin,
you are correct. I wrote it backwards when I sent that email. when dist
from rim to hub face is larger then rim width/2 the offset is negative. In
other words you are correct. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused, I
think it was late and I'm sure I was sleep deprived.
