Are the butterfies seating correctly? Shouldn't be any openings at all with
them shut.

Maybe something on the manifold allowing some air in, like a split vac
pipe, etc. This might be at the other end of the pipe and not get in on the
leak testing.

My apologies, but what about with the cable disconnected?
