Corey:

Too much by about $2800. For the kind of money that's being asked you
can find a driver MGA ready to go with nothing to do but normal
servicing.

The 1500 was the most common model with 58,750 cars produced. It also
has the less desirable, for some, drum brakes up front. Although wire
wheels are a fettish with Americans they require more upkeep and cost
much more to replace if bad. Most wire wheels if they're still original
to the car need complete rebuilding or replacement to the tune of $200
EACH.

_ missing fender mirrors ($50)
<<<snip>>>
Most were installed by the dealer or owner. Very few came from the
factory so equipped.

<<<Snip>>>
_ missing radio & blanking plate;
<<<snip>>>
ditto

<<<snip>>>
_ missing ... trunk trim;
<<<snip>>>
There wasn't any unless you're discussing the cover over the spare
wheel.

<<<Snip>>>
_ missing ... tools
<<<snip>>>
Not uncommon and not very useful except the hammer.

This is more of a driver than a correct example. Keep that in mind.
Correct examples can run 50% more than a driver.

Advice to women
If you want someone who will bring you the paper without first tearing
it
apart to remove the sports section, get a dog.
If you want someone willing to make a fool of himself simply over the
joy
of seeing you, get a dog.
If you want someone who will eat whatever you put in front of him and
never says its not quite as good as his mother made it, get a dog.
If you want someone always willing to go out, at any hour, for as long
and
wherever you want, get a dog.
If you want someone to scare away burglars, without a lethal weapon
which
terrifies you and endangers the lives of your family and all the
neighbors, get a dog.
If you want someone who will never touch the remote, doesn't give a damn
about football, and can sit next to you as you watch romantic movies,
get a dog.
If you want someone who is content to get up on your bed just to warm
your
feet and whom you can push off if he snores, get a dog.
If you want someone who never criticizes what you do, doesn't care if
you
are pretty or ugly, fat or thin, young or old, with breasts or without,
who acts as if every word you say is especially worthy of
listening to, and loves you unconditionally, perpetually, get a dog.
But on the other hand If you want someone who will never come when you
call, ignores you totally when you come home, leaves hair all over the
place, walks all over you, expects you to serve dinner at all hours of
the day and night, runs around all night, only comes home to
eat and sleep, and acts as if your entire existence is solely to ensure
his happiness, Then my friend
Get a cat.
