Terry,

With the C in Portland, I'm in the process of rebuilding a BGT into a road
car, and I wish it were a C. Without that lump of cast iron in front, it
just seems too light for highway travel.

The pity is that the Austin Healey 6 has a lot more power than the C, and
handles better. With Donald and Geoff Healey to fight BMC's crazy ideas, the
car is a better sports car than any C will ever b. I only wish BMC had
learned from Donald and Geoff. Did you know that BMC wanted to badge the C
as the Austin Healey Mark IV? If you get a chance, look over a Healey to see
how nice it became. However, when I took a trip with the AH club in my C, it
was more dependable than the Healeys. That was probably a function of the
owner's interest.

Thanks for the reply,

Jack
