Bummer - I have a spare G3 sitting here but I think shipping it to the
US (and shipping fabricated parts back to Australia) may negate any cost
savings.

I am following your racecar building expedition with eagerness, interest
and anticipating, Larry - please do make sure you publsih EVERYTHING for
my later reference.

I have to seriously start getting my 'B track ready for next year and
have started the "wish list" for additional go-fast bits on top of the
general stuff (like rebuilding the bottom end of the engine which is
always a good thing after a couple of go-fast seasons... and a slap of
paint to stop people grimacing when they see it).

I have a funny feeling that, with my SD1 on the road, the 'B is heading
towards being less of a street machine <sigh> with the big decision
coming when I have to decide whether or not to remove the windscreen
(and immediately gain at least two seconds a lap... something that would
normally cost me a small fortune in engine development at this stage).

Larry's is racing - mine is fast-street, but that never stops one
looking at those bits that Larry is investing in.

Oh yeah - and then someone dangles a straight-cut gearbox in front of
me... more impressive than advantageous in my competition for the price
($AU1,600.00) as my "standard" box and button clutch can probably easily
handle what it is put through it now - for a while.
