Thanks to all you computer (and mechanical) savvy persons who responded to
the above question. One question most of you asked, was what type of
connection I have. It is a dial-up (I live in the Missouri "sticks", but my
wife is not barefoot OR pregnant, at least that I know of at the present
time).
Several of you said you've been using internet banking for a while; I've
been using it for almost 4 years now and am very satisfied, but I sure don't
want to take any more risk than is necessary, therefore the question.

download ZoneAlarm.
keep my Microsoft patches up to date.
Keep my Norton anti-virus up to date.
never store a saved password
never turn on file sharing
do not install Pc Anywhere
Download and run spybot
