In my experience, the "high temp" spray paint burns off just like all the
others and then you have a rusty *and* splotchy header. I've re-done a
couple of cars by wire brushing the header then using some gunk sold by
Griot's Garage called "Manifold Dressing". It leaves the header looking like
fresh cast iron, not fakie-doo black or silver paint. I like he way it looks
and it lasts a long time. They also sell a 14000 brush on paint but I've
never used it so can't opine.
