I use them on all the fittings on my V8. They are a wonderful invention and
make one man brake bleeding a real reality.
As for the midget slave, I think that the trick on this one is to bleed it
before bolting it onto the tranny.

A speed bleeder (different manufacturers use different names) is a bleeder
screw with a check valve in it that makes bleeding any hydraulic system much
easier. You should be able to find them at any good auto parts store, I just
bought a pair from a local Car Quest store. The Midget slave cylinder uses a
3/8" fine thread screw, you can find them in sizes to work on your brakes,
too.
