Or, I guess you could use one of the 8-cyl. Smiths
tachometers that are popular with Cobra replica guys.
I think Nisonger has them - www.nisonger.com - but
probably lots of Cobra replica places have them too.
Not the cheapest option in town, but very "period"
looking...
