gauges acting funny

Hi everyone,
I was driving along in my 1976 B and all of a sudden my fuel gauge and
my temp gauge only started to die.  Then when I'd slow done they'd start
to act normally.  That lasted for only for a minute.  Now they are not
working at all.  Also my car started stalling out.  Any clues?
