  I see someone else beat me to it but what are/were the oil viscosities 
you used?

   I started my B engine on Castrol 20W-50 and that's what I'm still 
using.  I still have 50 lbs hot at idle after 10,000 miles.  Did you 
replace the oil pump and bypass valve?
