Thanks for the on and off list replies guys - lots of useful info.  I
have seen the IOPORT website and I had my concerns, but personal
recommendation does it for me.  I am still building my own but it
appears to be close to their design so I will see how I go with my extra
help from this list to go with.

I will get stuck into this project this week and let people know how I
go.  Hopefully I will be able to post some vision of my tests.

I want to get my next event on tape... but I really, really want to get
our final event of the year -  A TWIGHLIGHT SPRINT.  Last time it was
truly spectacular with ten cars ending up bunched up together under
lights/headlights and jostling for position - people watching said it
looked great but I can tell you, from inside the car it was bloody
amazing (especially as most of the other cars were in front of me most
of the time :-)
