Hi Dave,
Just an alternate point of view, but when I was looking for a stowaway top for 
my '66, I first considered how much the top would actually be up.

I made the decision to go with the cheapest top I could find since the car 
would be driven "al fresca" anyway.

You probably don't want to hear it, but in the 26 years I've had the car, the 
top has only been up a dozen times.
