My insurance agent told me it had to be kept in a locked garage. I
never read the policy closely enough to know whether that was in the
policy or not. The agent also told me there was a 2500 mile/year
limit, but it was just a formality - they never ask, which has been
my experience.
Maybe the agent is supposed to check some of these things before the
policy is even quoted.
