Go to http://www.mgb-stuff.org.uk/curvestext.htm  and look up your dizzy 
by serial #.  Hopefully you got one with a curve that will be OK for 
your engine.  BTW, I use a 25D4 #40897 in my '69 B.  Still using points 
and a Lucas Sport coil.
