Parting it is no problem, you could do that with an axe ... It's the
reassembly that is the issue, and if it was simply a matter of wanting to
sell more callipers there wouldn't be half as much information on
dismantling and repair in the rest of the manuals as there is. Brakes are
pretty critical, possibly more than steering.
