They should have installed a 215 aluminum V8.  That would be the 
perfect TF hotrod.  Back in 1967, I looked at a TF to buy; it had a 
215 Buick installed with 2-2s, AH transmission and rear end.  I think 
it was $400.  Needed some finishing.  The owner claimed it would do 
wheelstands.  My father nixed the deal saying I would end up killing 
myself in it, and he was probably right.  So instead I ended up with 
an MGA with its original 1600 engine.
