All the posts regarding  visits to the factory have me trying to figure
ways of getting the kids to take a semester off so I can apply the money
to a trip. 
Just in case someone else does make the trip. while touring the factory
take a walk around to the back of the building.  The factory is no
different than me ( or you ). They throw stuff that they don't need but
can't bring them self to throw out behind the garage.  One of the things
you will find, unless they have cleaned up , in the tall weeds is the
crashed +8 that was used in the late 60s to test the car for safety
standards, Still has the black checker blocks on the side and all the
fittings were left on . Its quiet back there so you can cry without
anyone seeing you.  

One of my observations while at the factory really  summed up the
attitude of the workers. 
I was watching one of the men in the metal shop work when the handle on
his hammer broke.  I expected him to throw it out and get another.
Following him, he went to the wood shop foreman and showed him the
broken handle. A discussion  ensued regarding the fact that the handle
had been replaced just a few weeks ago with  both men giving the handle
a detailed examination to determine why it was so short lived.
The meeting concluded with the woodshop foreman promising to make
another handle and have the hammer back to the metal man by the end of
the day. 
I figure that fifteen minutes was spent discussing  this three dollar
handle.
Figure in the fabrication time, and thats one hell of an expensive
hammer.
 
Bit of trivia: Morgans factory is located in Malvern Link not Great
Malvern. Why was it called Malvern Link ?

Regarding the doors. I'll see if I can get started on a article on
skinning the doors.  The article on the quarter panel was easy to write
since I wrote it as I did the panel. I've done about 14 doors to date so
hopefully  I can write it up from memory.     

Question: Three wheeler types, does the F type trike have a Dog Clutch
or did it use the Ford transmission?

Re: which blower motor I used.
 Some one gave me a box of old blower motors . The one I used said Delco
 on it but  I don't know the application. I found all the motors to be
about the same size and shape and all seemed to spin at the same speed. 
The main differance was the mounting brackets The one I used requried
the least amont of modifcation, but almost any of them would have worked
.  I made all the mods to the motor not the heater box so if it didn't
work out I could return to the  Smiths motor.
