I have used silicone in the past with great results. I did not experience any negative side effects. The best part is that it doesn't lift paint if you should spill some. I completely rebuilt the system including wheel cylinders, pipes, and hoses. I did some light racing a few times, still no problems. I did later change to other fluid to accomodate more heavy breaking during racing. I would not hesitate using it in a street car. Dennis Morrison |
