I collected mine from the factory back in 1987 with no problem from either
my dealer (F.H. Douglass) or the factory itself. Call the factory and see
what they say. I treasure the photograph of Peter Morgan and I standing by
my car on collection day.

We are now approaching the fateful day when the beast will be finished!
We
had wanted to pick it up from the factory ourselves, but our dealer is
*very* anti. "Morgan have no PDI facility" ... "we have to adjust
things here before you get it" etc etc. Is this valid comment, or
would I just be paying the dealer a few hundred pounds for a day out in
Malvern?
