I live in Houston. Why would I want another heater, not to mention the one
in the car? Mine is a 67 4/4 competion (court is still out on if it left
the factory that way). I have the same heater as yours.
The box heater you describe sounds right for a +4. When I was at Cantab
last week they had a Chrome heater cover for a +4 and it was about what you
described.
BTW, I have been told the transmission will be ready by next Friday. I have
cleaned the engine and it is now black. I did take a liberty with the valve
cover and used the same aluminium paint on it as I did on the header after
it was cleaned up. My goal is to have it back on the road by Oct. 1 and
drive the car to TexMog.
