Big deal Arlo. I got the 36 F2 Three Wheeler up to 47.75 MPH today !!

Our little town is at the absolute floor of the valley, at 1,000'
elevation. A major highway runs 4 miles to the west at about 1,100'
elevation. By starting at that point I was able to get the car up to
this speed and, after hitting the flats after about one and a half miles
of a steady drop, I was able to keep it at speed for a ways until I
 decided to slow it down.

I live at about 5,000' elevation at the base of a 10,000' ft mountain. By
starting at the top of the Mt I was able to get the F2 airborn for about 7
miles, I have no idea what air speed I hit but I know I took out 4 hang
gliders and scared the hell out of a Southwest Airlines plane inbound from
Denver.

I only claim 47.75 MPH because that's what the local sheriff said I was doing
at the end of my landing on Interstate 25. The speedo on the F2 is
inoperative. Quite a thrill. I did have to stop and change my underwear
before I could drive home though. The F2's wings really work. There was
quite a bit of vibration though. I checked with the local air traffic control
center and they reported that I was not visible on their radar, so maybe the
F2 is a stealth design !!??!!
