Yes indeed, my first and a 350cc Yellow Desmo version. Mine actually
came with the drum brakes but Vic Camp, the original UK importer did a
swap with the Brembo setup from a 450 he had in stock-he was that kind
of man, unlike the rip-off artists that succeeded him unfortunately. I
bought it new and kept it until leaving the UK in '83. Went to a good
home though, as did the used 750 Sport which was another sweetheart of a
bike except for the Scarab front disc brake, which I was NOT impressed
with. The 900 SS got stolen after a breakdown and the insurance payment
went as a Down payment for MOGS of which I simply will never tire of and
expect to pass on to my eldest daughter who adores it and for a teenager
drives it very well although the performance leaves her breathless on
occasion!
Odd, my wife was delighted when I finally went from 2 wheels to 4 until
I took her for a drive and ruined her coiffure in short order and she's
resented MOGS ever since!
