I am familiar with the reverse coolant flow theory and it seems logical to me.
I almost modified my +4 a few years ago- just to do it. In fact I wrote it up
in MogTechTips back in '92.

My car does not run hot coolant. In fact I have to take steps to bring the
temp up. That does not mean that it is not hot in some spots. That was the
reason for converting to the Evans coolant in the article I read in Hot Rod.
Their electronic knock-sensing ign actually advanced 9 degrees with the Evans
coolant. They were not after a cooler engine per se- just improved cooling
around the valves/head so they couls get more advance & torque.

The point of all this was to get some feedback- I have already decided I'm
gonna do something just for grins- and it seems like it just might help too.

Art- You have stated my thoughts exactly... how about corrosion in aluminium?
Think the RV antifreeze with H2o- or buy the Evans? Does VSCDA, HSR, VSCA, etc
have a rule on propylene glycol? I know they do not allow ethylene glycol...

I'm not after cooler- I'm after better..
