Hey Gary, Hey Gary, Hey Gang,

The number of comments regarding the "loss" of this Morgan list
(morgans@autox.team.net) as a result of the possible formation of a large
Morgan club on the NA Continent has puzzled me. I can only conclude that
people don't understand how this list works and who makes it work.

I hope and think that losing this list is not a real possibility because the
two things (the club and the list) are not closely related. This list is not
operated by Lorne in Canada nor by me in New Mexico. This list is not operated
by anyone who has been involved in this discussion at all. So far as I am
aware, this list is not even operated by a Morgan owner.

So far as I am aware the administrator of morgans@autox.team.net is still Mark
Bradakis... a fellow who lives beneath a mountain of paperwork someplace in
Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. Although he lives beneath a mountain of paperwork
(including, buried someplace, a couple of checks from me), Mark is surrounded
on all sides by even larger mountains of hardware that enable this list to
actually operate.

That is to say: you write a message and hit your "send" key, the message goes
to Mark (autox.team.net), is automatically sorted, and, untouched by human
hands, is resent to all the subscribers on the Morgans List.

Not only is Lorne not involved, I am not involved, and, in real terms, even
Mark is not involved.

In addition to morgans@autox.team.net Mark operates some 60 other lists from
"A" (for "Alpine") through at least "V" (for "Vintage Race").

So, I think your concerns are unfounded.

I would certainly not support anything that would in any way restrict access
or decrease usability of this list.

Cheers!
