One thing to remember about earlier Morgans is that they weighed less then
the new ones, especially the 4/4.  Mog 99 in Scotland had an informal hill
climb (see earlier report).  The fasted car up was a pre 1980 4/4.
......

mind you it was bored out to 2 litres with twin webbers big ventilated
disks all round and the largest bore exhaust I have ever seen on a Morgan.

Dave Vodden who's 1992 Plus 4 went up fast enough thankyou but 6 seconds
behind the above
