I have a great back up light in my 1957 Plus 4. It is one of those
hand-driven Russian flashlights. You put the car in  in reverse, you
squeeze frantically, you see dimly behind the car, you back up, you put
it in first, throw the light in the in the glove-hole, say
'dosphydanya'  and drive away. No fuss, no muss and aerobic exercise to
boot. Makes a great Christmas gift.
