I received an interesting question from a fellow Morganeer tonight that
I can't answer.

I have discovered that the main cross tubes on the front end of my 67
4/4 are a tad bent on one side, directly down(!). Actually, I can't imagine
how that could happen, unless the triangulating brace can actually be
overtightened to that degree, which seems unlikely. Anyway, however it
happened, that's the way it is. I intend to discuss straightening them
with a good body shop with a frame rack. Getting to the point, have you had
any experience, or know of any, with straightening these tubes? Do you
happen to know what variety of steel they are made of? ....

Thanks,
Ron

Has anyone had any experience with the bent front end tubes and know what
kind of steel they're made of?

TIA

John
