I changed the radiator and shroud when I clipped the truck last spring. I
never had any cooling problems with the old non shrouded radiator. The only
reason I did it was that at some point (waaayyyy in the future) I hope to
put AC on the truck and figured the old stock radiator wouldn't cut it.
Guess you would call it cutting off a potential problem at the pass.
The radiator and shroud both are mid 70's Nova, same as the front clip. The
radiator was a brand new replacement part while the shroud came from the
boneyard.
