One other point about bed wood installation. Besides getting dimensions
from the chevytrucks web site as Ron suggested, you might want to buy a
copy of the Bed Assembly & Restoration Manual. It is available from most
of the Chevy truck vendors (I'm looking at the Chevs of the 40s catalog
and it is $4.) It doesn't have the dimensions for cutting and milling
the wood, but it should answer the rest of your questions.
