[oletrucks] gas tank restore question

Eric,
I sent my tank to my local chemical strip joint and had it dipped.  
It cost $75.00 and came back looking brand new inside and out.  The 
chemicals removed all rust and gunk but did not remove any of the 
galvanized finish.  You might inquire with your local shop.....sounds 
better than cutting the tank!
