It's under the floor of the cab on the passenger side, near the door.  Lift
up the floor covering and you should see a door covering it.

I too had "dark current" problems until I redid the wiring in my '57.  To
fix it as a stop gap, I installed a master off switch that's still in
there.  It was $30 at my FLAPS and the switch is hidden in the cab but easy
to get to.
