[oletrucks] another gauge question

All the recent talk about restoring gauges got me thinking about my
"other" project; my 1924 Chevy 1 ton truck.
I have been tinkering with the old thing for a while now (when I wasn't
able to work on my 49 3100), and am to the point of re-installing the
gauges. The problem is that you cant just pick up a catalog and get new
decals for these old trucks, and you can pretty much forget finding
replacements. The truck only has 3 instruments.......speedometer,
ammeter and oil pressure gauge.
Can anyone out there help me find a place that can repair/rebuild/reface
these old gauges, or maybe know of a reputable source for purchasing NOS
ones? I realize this is a little out of the year range for the list
(only by 17 years!), but I couldn't think of any other places to turn.
Thanks in advance
Brad
49 3100 .............. in the final stages of an all original, frame off
restoration
50 GMC 150 ....... started as a parts truck for the 49, but ended up
being a future project?
40 KC (Chevy 1/2 ton) ....... all original, runs like a top, but needs
cosmetics
24 Chevy 1 ton .......... will be really cool if I ever get it back
together

oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959
