A little more background on my problem: When I take my battery out and get
it charged, everything works fine for a week or so. Then it seems to run
down, and won't start the truck without jumper cables. I believe I'm just
not getting a charge from the generator, even though the generator is
putting out. As stated earlier, the gauge never shows a charge, only a
discharge when I turn on lights, wipers etc. Another observation: When I
unhook the battery the engine dies. Any thoughts?
