You know Mike, I'm not even sure what I'm looking for. I'm not in dire need
of anything, but I always seem to walk away from a junk yard with something or
another. I guess I would be in the market for a 261 Chevy engine. Another
interesting thing to look for is 17.5" 6-lug wheels. I don't actually need
any, but I know how hard they are to find (I had to get mine from all the way
out in Oregon).
BTW Mike, there is a small yard near me that has a 1956 Chevy 1-ton that is in
pretty good shape. It spent it's whole life on a farm before it finally ended
up in the junk yard last fall. The truck has not been hit and it still runs
(I started it up). The guy won't sell parts off of it, but he only wants $600
for it. I would like to have the engine; would you be interested in any parts
off of it?
