1955 was the first year for the 1/2 ton long bed (3200).  I have a 56
3200.  I'm pretty sure that the rear fenders on all the TF trucks (and
even thru 1966) are the same.  Perhaps he noticed the emblem on the
front fender, which is unique to that year.
